Filby Builders once again worked with Brighton’s Archangels Architects on this wide-ranging project. The property is located in the affluent area of Woodland Avenue in Hove and the client’s brief was to gain as much living space as possible.
This extensive renovation consisted of a two-story rear extension and loft conversion with multi pitched roof. Installation of Wren kitchen and utility room as well as a new bathroom and two new en-suite bathrooms. The refurbishment was completed with bespoke bookshelves and wooden floors throughout.
James and his team worked on our house renovation in 2017 and we can not recommend them highly enough. They renovated and extended our three-bedroom house including doubling our downstairs floor space and adding two new bedrooms.
We contracted James through a competitive tender process. We were impressed by the full and in-depth tender document they produced and by James himself when we interviewed him. The job was delivered exactly to tender with the only exceptions being changes we made ourselves during the project.
Throughout the 11 months James and his team were on site they were always punctual, polite and helpful. James always came to us with solutions to any issues that arose and delivered everything to budget.
Throughout the job James kept us up to date with schedules and always gave us plenty of notice of any decisions that were needed big or small. We are delighted with the quality of the finished work and are happy to show it off to any of James’ potential future clients.
