About this Project

Royal Crescent Mews is a delightful house in a central location, close to the Brighton seafront. As ever with properties in the centre of the city, space is always at a premium and our brief was to make best use of the space. 

Filby Builders completed an extensive refurbishment including a complete new roof and roof covering and the installation of four flat roof velux windows to flood the space with natural light. We also carried out damp proofing of the external walls, installation of new plumbing throughout the entire property including piped underfloor heating throughout entire house and a complete new rewire of all electrics.

Wood is good 

Joinery-wise, we completed the installation of all new wooden doors and windows, hardwood floors throughout and a brand new bespoke staircase as well as bespoke joinery in the bedrooms and under the stairs. The installation of a new bathroom, en-suite and toilet and a new kitchen completed the interior. Construction of a roof terrace, re-rendering of the outside of the house and decorating to both the inside and out finished off this stunning refurbishment.
